Remembrance Day Ceremony
Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Kingsway Legion will begin at 1030hrs (10:30 am). Please have the cadets arrive at 9:30 am and dressed for the weather. Pending what uniform you have been issued - dress for the day will be your DEU. If you don’t have then wear your FTU’s or best civilian clothing. Address is 14339 50 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5A 0S9.

During the period of December 16, 2025 and January 5, 2026, 180 RCACC will “stand-down” all Cadet Training and Activities, both virtual and in-person. This decision and direction will serve to provide an opportunity for all our members to take the time to rest and recover.

ADA Cold Weather FTX (with other Corps)
Area Directed Activity (ADA) Cold Weather FTX with other Corps.
Drop off at the Alberta Aviation Museum 11410 Kingsway Ave NW Edmonton (click for google map) on Friday evening at 1800hrs (6:00 pm). Pickup on Sunday afternoon at 1600hrs (4 pm). Wear Field Training Uniform (FTU) or appropriate civilian clothing if your FTU’s haven’t been issued yet.
Winter boots must be insulated - FTU boots, running shoes, hiking boots, rubber boots are not acceptable winter boots.
- It is important that Cadets be prepared to dress for cold weather as they will be training outside all weekend.
- Opportunities for Cadets to charge cell phones will be limited.
- Personal Hygiene Kit includes the following: Small hand towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant (not spray), feminine hygiene products as required.
- Wide-mouth water bottles are recommended in order to minimize impact of water freezing in spout. Also bring an additional cup for hot liquids.
- Sleeping bags and air mattress will be provided.
- While additional cold weather gear will be issued at the training area, all personnel must be properly dressed for cold weather travel to and from the training area. Cold weather gear issued at the training area will have to be returned prior to travel back to LHQ.

Wainwright Day Trip
Wainwright Day Trip is our Canadian Armed Forces familiarization day. Field Training Uniforms (FTU’s) is the dress for the day and if you don’t have those issued yet then appropriate civilian attire.
This event will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 0800hrs (8 am) to 2000 hrs (8 pm). Pick up and drop off for this trip will be at the LHQ Hanger. Lunch will be provided and bring water bottle.
Spring Break
During the “Spring Break” period of March 25, 2026 and April 6, 2026, 180 RCACC will not be conducting any Cadet Training or Activities, both virtual and in-person.

Museum Trip (Weekend)
More information to follow… Museum Trip is a weekend trip to Calgary to visit the “Museum of the Regiments” and the “Calgary Zoo”. Field Training Uniforms (FTU’s) is the dress for the weekend and if you don’t have those issued yet then appropriate civilian attire.
This event will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 1800hrs (6 pm) to Sunday, April 19, 1600 hrs (4 pm). Pick up and drop off for this trip will be at the LHQ Hanger. Kit List will be provided.

This event will be held on Friday, May 7, 2026 from 1800hrs (6 pm) to Sunday, May 10, 1600 hrs (4 pm). Pick up and drop off for this trip will be at the LHQ Hanger. Kit List will be provided.
Victoria Day (Alberta Legislature)
The Victoria Day event is a tour of the Alberta Legislature. Wear Service Dress aka Distinctive Environmental Uniform (DEU). If you don’t have it then wear Field Training Uniform (FTU) or appropriate civilian attire.
This event will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 1100hrs (11 am) to 1300 hrs (1 pm). More information to follow….

Please join us for the Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) event as we congratulate our Cadets for completing the 2025/2026 season. Presented by the 180 20th Field Artillery Regiment RCACC and the Corp Support Committee of 180.

During the period of June 14, 2026 and September 1, 2026, 180 RCACC will “stand-down” all Cadet Training and Activities, both virtual and in-person. This decision and direction will serve to provide an opportunity for all our members to take the time to rest and recover.
Field Training Exercise (FTX)
Field Training Exercise (FTX) will be conducted from Friday, November 7 at 180hrs (6 pm). Cadets are to be dropped off at the hanger wearing their FTU’s (field training uniform). The cadets are to be picked up at the same location on Sunday, November 9 at 1600hrs (4 pm).
Cadets will be taught how to work and thrive in the field environment. Cadets will participate in training that will be predominantly outdoors. As such it is important that cadets bring all the items on the kit list provided. A completed and signed parental consent form will also be required to be submitted before attending this exercise. It is important that cadets be prepared to dress for cool rainy weather as they will be training outside all day Saturday and Sunday. Opportunities for cadets to charge cell phones will be limited.

More information to follow... Do not come to the unit at the hanger but come to the location you signed up for. Saturday, November 1, from 0900-1600hrs (9 am to 4 pm). Wear your DEU, FTU or best civilian attire with preference for the DEU if it has been issued. Also, bring your own water/food.

Field Training Exercise (FTX)
